Aerosmith is a legendary hard rock band whose best music spanned two decades and beyond. Walk This Way was considered to be so similar to hip hop that a remix was created in collaboration with Run-DMC. Dude Looks Like A Lady, originally titled Crusin' for a Lady, was changed due to a comment regarding a man wearing his hair long. Frontman Steven Tyler is known for his unusually large mouth. The song Big Ten Inch, originally performed in 1952 by Bull Moose Jackson, features risqué innuendo which got the original banned from airplay. Their Back in the Saddle sounds somewhat like Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N Roses. All of their studio albums have gone at least gold. Most of their concert albums have gone platinum. Most of their compilations have gone at least gold, with Greatest Hits going diamond.

Parody Edit

Weird Al Yankovic parodied Aerosmith with Livin' in the Fridge. His song Callin' in Sick, while a style parody of grunge, has been compared to the start of Janie's Got a Gun.

Popular internet cartoon Homestar Runner references Don'tWant to Miss a Thing in the episode Flash is Dead.
