Stevie Ray Vaughan is a distinguished blues guitarist who kept blues rock alive in the eighties. Died in a helicopter crash in 1990. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015 with his backing group, Double Trouble. Initially nominated alone, the ballot was altered to include Double Trouble, thereby essentially securing his induction. Performed with blues legend Albert King and performed so well even King was impressed. Covered The Jimi Hendrix Experience. His most famous song is Texas Flood.
